Sustainable Forest Management CertificationSustainable Forest Management certification is a voluntary process that involves external verification of forest management quality through performance-based Principles, Criteria and Indicators. Forest certification aims to enhance forest management by ensuring the sustainability of production, and its ecological/environmental and socio-economic impact. Certification is conducted under the principles of: voluntary, transparency, independence, participative, non-discrimination and accountability. LEI Sustainable Plantation Forest Management (SPFM) Certification. The Indonesian Ecolabeling Institute's (LEI) SPFM certification is currently the only national standard that is applicable and credible for forest plantation management in Indonesia.
